Born in raised in Southern Louisiana, moved to Los Angeles 18 years ago to work in the Film Industry as a Hair and Makeup Artist. After 28 years in the business, I was asked this question, "What do you think happens to animals when they make a makeup brush". This set a fire of passion in me to find the Truth! What I found was Shocking! I had two choices to complain about it, or do something about it. I chose to do something about it. In 2006, Branded J Collections was launched, a Cruelty Free cosmetic Company with a mission to create awareness of the alternative in the cosmetic industry. A brush line called Heaven's Brush by Branded J, has become the trail blazer for Cruelty Free cosmetic brushes. Along with my love for Animals, my passion for staying healthy and growing old gracefully is a life long journey.
