Established in 1963, Falcon has been making footwear in Lewiston, Maine, for 45 years. L.L. Bean, Dunham, Timberland, Cabela's and Browning work boots are some of the brands in Falcon's history. We have a strong tradition of Quality, Craftsmanship, and Innovation. This has enabled us to stay in Maine and not follow the footwear industry trend of sourcing production outside the US.
In 2006, Falcon was selected by Globe Firefighter Suits of Pittsfield, NH to manufacture a revolutionary new boot for firefighters. Using an athletic shoe platform rather than the traditional stiff welted sole, this new premium leather boot provides exceptional comfort, durability, and flexibility. Ceramic toe caps, 5 layers of Kevlar, a unique metatarsal guard, and NFPA rating provide unmatched protection. Firefighters have responded with enthusiasm, and demand for these boots continues to climb.
