Bird Cakes:
INGREDIENTS:
1 cup cornmeal
1 cup uncooked oatmeal
1 cup flour
1 cup milk
1/2 cup ground suet
1/2 teaspoon soda
1/3 cup dry bread crumbs
DIRECTIONS:
Combine cornmeal, oatmeal, flour, milk, suet, soda and breadcrumbs and bake at 350 for 1 hour in greased angel cake pan or bundt pan. Let cool.
Hang out for birds to feed. Can be wrapped in netting or placed on flat surface.
