Pizza Hut Pizza Sauce:
Here is the recipe just like you would get from Pizza Hut, try this out tonight on your next pizza, And see if you agree, and see if the kids say it takes and tastes just like what you get from Pizza Hut.
Ingredients: Yield: 2 cups
1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce
1/4 cup water
1 teaspoon sugar
1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
1/4 teaspoon dried basil leaves
1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
1 whole bay leaf
1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
Directions:
1 Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan.
2 Cook over medium heat until sauce starts to boil.
3 Lower heat and simmer, covered,for 30 to 45 minutes or until it is as thick as you like it.
4 Makes enough for 2 pizzas.
