Here is basically the same recipe they use at Pizza Hut. I tried it, and they taste the same. Possibly better.
Ingredients:
1 (10 ounce) can pizza dough (Pillsbury)
1 tablespoon parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon garlic salt
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon oregano
1/4 cup olive oil (approximately)
marinara sauce, for dipping
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 450º.
2. Unroll dough onto cutting board. Cut into 16 even strips.
3. Place each strip on a lightly greased cookie sheet.
4. Bake 6-8 minutes until golden brown.
5. While dough is baking, combine all DRY ingredients.
6. Remove baked breadsticks from oven and brush with olive oil and quickly sprinkle evenly with dry topping.
7. Serve with warm marinara sauce.
Makes 16 breadsticks.
And if you want to use the seasoning they have:
Ingredients:
4 tablespoons dry parmesan cheese
3 tablespoons garlic powder
1 tablespoon onion salt
1 tablespoon oregano
Directions:
1. Combine spices and roll breadsticks in then bake.
2. Can increase measurements using formula of 4 parts parm, 3 parts garic powder, 1 part onion salt and 1 part oregano.
3. Cannot advise on quantity of breadsticks since I had just written down the ingredients with the formula.
4. Amount needed will be determined by the quantity of breadstick dough.
Hope this helps, and have fun cooking!
