BUYI remember so very well coming up as a kid seeing Conan the Barbarian, Conan the conqueror and king Conan on tv. I always wondered what it would be like if it were a game on consoles, and for once lady luck just kissed my cheek cause it has came to pass.... the Barbarian lives!
(STORY) Don't act like you don't know Conan stays in some serious chizz, This time he is on a quest to find his armor that was taken from him by a wizard he incidentally released from his captivity in a tomb he was raiding. The wizard cast a spell to send pieces of the armor to different locations across the map. I know what your saying just get some new armor, but please remember we are dealing with a barbarian not a genius here people.
(Gameplay) Conan is granted solid controls for a semi hack and slash, also a fairly easy combo system and upgrade system is added to your arsenal. But no Conan game could be complete without the blood and gore. It's literally sick some of the things Conan does to his enemies, he breaks there backs, decapitates, slices off limbs and slams them to death all while talking trash.... I love it. You can also make Conan pick up fallen enemies weapons so you can dual wield swords and so on. But I guess with all these great gameplay aspects its a shame the camera system is screwed, its automatic so if there's enemies all around you its rather easy but difficult to navigate at the same time.
(SOUND) Conan's sound quality is terrible. Conan is no rocket scientist but he shouldn't talk like his first cousin is Fred Firestone either. Most Of the dialogue sounds like a bad recording of an old western,seriously.
(Graphics) Hard to believe after the sound section that this game could look good, but it does. Conan actually looks great and the blood and gore actually remains on the ground long after you have slain your foes. Backgrounds are bland but fits their purpose, your enemies aren't clones so that's a definite plus.

Conan has his flaws but he is definitely worth the 5 bucks you can get him for now.
