BUYWell, considering we are a new site, and the fact we are mere hours from the release of another entry into my all time favorite game series A.C. My brother in arms Darc decided I should go back and give a quick review of the entire series up to this point....thanks for the idea homie! First off, I've stated before I am obsessed with history, mostly as it pertains to religion, and even more so as it pertains to the history of the Freemasons/Knight's Templar, so it's obvious why I was immediately drawn into this series.
In the first game here, we are introduced to series staple Desmond Miles and his connection through his ancestors blood to a secret so important that it could change the mindset of all of humanity. Through the experiments of the new order of templars aka the abstergo agency and their kidnapping of Mr. Miles, we live out the majority of the game as the original assassin Altair Ibn-La'Ahad and his fall from grace from the assassins order and his struggle to prove his worth to his master again.
This was a solid release and I personally still adore this game, it's smooth fluid Parkour style free running gameplay. The still impressive graphics and obviously the amazing story. The only thing that held this game back was it's limited and repetitive missions, it turned a lot of players off, but again I loved it's creativity, it's storytelling which is based in actual fact but twisted to suit the gaming community and just the feeling of being this unstoppable bad ass hunting from the shadows with purpose. 4.5 out of 5 stars.
