(THIS AINT TWILIGHT) OK if you are a fan of the old Castlevania from NES, then I'm sorry to inform you this is a revamped version of the series. The story starts off in the 10,00's back with horses, swords and such. Your character is Gabriel Belmont, and you are a member of the Brother Hood Of Light. The world is threatened by a demonic entity that is attacking the living people, but if that isn't bad enough, the souls of the dead remain trapped on earth. Gabriel also has his reasons for going on this journey, his wife was brutally murdered by one of these foul beasts.
(HOW DOESETH THOU LOOK) Gabriel and his foes look epic, and bosses are huge and eye popping with detail. Environments could use a lil work but it passes my sobriety test. Cut scenes totally rock and really help tell a visual tale. The Egem thumbs up with a cherry on top. (1 star)
(PRESSETH THE ACTION BUTTON) OK first and foremost this game is hard, so if you are not a fan of a challenge, take your hand away from the game. Secondly Castlevania has a decent combo system but the map of where to go is worse than a two year old at times. The sequence buttons you use to take down enemies is God of Warish and that's a good thing. Puzzles aren't that difficult unless your the occasional moron like myself at times. Egem gives one thumb up, cause any guy that killa stuff with a cross is a winner. (1/2 star)
(SOUNDS LIKE A WINNER) Great voice overs and great sound effects make this game a winner, but the epic bgm is what really shines here. I'm a fanatic of dramatizing music, thumbs up. (1 star)
(THERE'S NO MULTIPLAYER) There is no multiplayer and I really don't know how it would fit this game. With that being said, there is a thumbs up for not trashing this beautiful game with a messed up version of slay the beast. (1 star)
