BUYEnslaved takes place in the future, the world has been pushed to the brink of destruction. Most of the surviving human race are dead or enslaved by the machines. Known only as Mechs, the machines are programmed to completely eradicate humanity.
(Tell me a story) This game is developed by Ninja Theory, makers of Heavenly Sword. Technology goes wrong in every sci-fi flick, but in Enslaved its much to late to stop the destruction of earth. Players will be an enslaved human only known by the name Monkey, yeah Monkey. Trapped on board of a slave ship you will incidentally be freed by another slave by the name of Trip. Trip is a young women striving to survive with her technical skills alone. As Trip attempts to escape the ship, she makes the ship self destruct. Using a escape pod she survives the crash of the ship, little does she know Monkey grabbed on before she could detach from the slave ship. When Monkey comes to his senses he has a brain controlling helmet attached to his head, Trip put the helmet on Monkey so that he would help her find her way home. "And just like refusing any women guys" it could lead to death. And for one more extra boost to help Monkey keep Trip safe on there journey, She installed a fail safe to make Monkey die if her heart stops beating. Egem thumbs up for a hell hath no fury like a women scorned story.
(How does she look?) This game has some sweet graphics, characters look unique,crisp and fully detailed. Your surroundings show how much damage earth has taken over the years, weeds have grown all over everything for the finishing touches of this visual masterpiece. ( She looks like your first pay check Egem thumbs up).
( Your pushing my buttons) Monkey has multiple weapons at his disposal, his staff " I know right a stick" but not just any stick it can shoot stun blast and explosive ones. The combo system is simple but when facing Mechs, you may find yourself in repetition. Even with weapon upgrades and physical upgrades Monkey really doesn't learn any new tricks. Trip also comes into play, she can distract enemies for you to get closer to them while their shooting. ( you mashed my red button but gave me excellent A.I control, Egem one thumb up and one thumb down)
(Does it sound like winner?)Yes it does with great voice over acting and sound effects this game reminds me so much of Heavenly Sword. Egem thumbs up
