How can you go wrong with a bionic arm, Nathan Spencer returns 10 years supposedly after the original Nintendo classic by the same name. The story starts with Nathan being released from prison,( why was he in prison you ask?) He helped two rogue Bionics escape capture and was charged with treason.
Gameplay: Nathan is no longer a flat side scrolling swinging machine, this new version provides you with a 3 dimensional character. Also added to the gameplay, you can use your Bionic arm for combat and melee attacks, which is a plus for this 3rd person shooter. The controls are kind of tricky but once you master them, you will be a web swinging oops wrong game lol.
Graphics: Like I said before no more side scrolling, the 3d environments look completely destroyed and that fits the storyline. Nathan isn't the clean cut soldier you were used to. he looks rough, and again it fits the storyline. The Bionic arm looks good, but the enemies are kind of clone like, most of them look the same. Bosses look extremely large at times and seem unstoppable at times, but looks are deceiving.
Sound: Voice overs are great. Nathan sounds raspy and that's what you look for in an anti-hero. Background music  is exciting but stays true to the original game just revamped to rock. Explosions sound good but gun fire really doesn't excite me.
Egem-Mag Rating
3.5 stars
Don't get me wrong this is a good game but there's not enough ground action, you will find yourself swinging a lot. That may tickle Tarzan's fancy but I prefer to keep my feet flat on the ground.
