The wild wild west is back with a touch of Zombie, John Marston returns in a western horror. With family and friends turning into Zombies John has no choice but to saddle up with his six shooter once again to look for a cure. So come on little doggie take a trip back west and lend Mr. Marston a hand to stop the Zombie Apocalypse.
Gameplay: If you've played Red Dead Redemption you will feel right at home, If not what in the world have you been doing with your life. John gets a little more freedom this time around considering almost everyone's a Zombie you don't have to worry much about the Sheriff getting bent out of shape if your firearm goes off and a fellow citizen head was in the way. Multiplayer returns with Co-op missions and competitive play. Still being open world John travels as he pleases at his own risk, of course there's no telling how far the Zombie infestation has traveled.
Graphics: Still that dirty like riding a horse down a dirt trail look is there, and it fits don't you think? Zombies movements are like from Michael's "Thriller" now who can complain about that. There's a variety of different types of Zombies so don't think they all are slow and weak. Even the animals of the west can and will be infested so if your horse is bitten don't be surprised if it loses weight and becomes unresponsive.
Sound: Feed me brains won't be heard, but moans and snarls will be very common. John is as witty and Yuck mouth as usual. he speaks his mind and sounds good doing so. Not much has changed with the background music except it's a more spooky western.
Egem-Mag Verdict
5 out of 5 stars
If you liked John Marstons first adventure but have a fetish for Zombies, Undead Nightmare is the game for you. Downloadable content for the PS3 and Xbox 360 systems also are available if you already own the Original Red Dead Redemption.
