All of you Anime fanatics should be familiar with Afro Samurai. If not, climb from underneath that rock you've been under and get with the program. The world of Afro Samurai revolves around two headbands, Number one and number 2. These head bands symbolize the number one fighter in the world and number 2 is the runner up (duh...). "Afro" yep that's his name starts out as a young child in which his father has the number one headband. As the challenger slayed his father decapitating him, clearly leaving Afro with his fathers head and the number two headband. Clearly bent on revenge and a little tad bit crazy he travels with his decaying fathers head in his back pack. Wearing the number two headband young Afro draws a lot of unwanted attention which ultimately get him beaten unconscious by a group of thugs. With the number 2 headband lost to him Afro is hell bent on revenge. Training  in the art of the Samurai under a sword master that took him in to his orphanage  after finding him beaten and battered. As Afro got older his lust for revenge pushes him to go on a killing spree until he finds out the sword master has the number 2 headband. ( Long story short Afro kills the Sword master and all of his Orphan friends are killed by bandits that want the headband. Time passes and Afro feels he's ready to face the wearer of the number one headband and his fathers killer, he sets off on a journey killing any and everyone that gets in his way.
Gameplay: The combo system for the game is pretty sweet, killer combos lead to slicing off enemies limbs. The camera is kind of distracting and you'll lose focus easily.
Graphics: Drawn to resemble a comic book type setting the graphics are good but could have been much better. Environments look repetitive at times but are on par with the anime.
Sound: (Wu- tang clan ain't nothing to Fk wit) the music is produced by The Rza of Wu-tang clan, the beats are hard hitting and easy to vibe to, and the lyrics fit the game to a "T". Voice over acting by Samuel Jackson is astounding and hilarious at the same time.
Egem-Mag Verdict
