Are you a fan of the Fallout series? You ever wonder what it would be like have it be a online game? You want to try an mmorpg but not wear a dress with a staff? Well this might be something you might enjoy. CrimeCraft:Bleedout back story is how chaotic the world turns with the depletion of the worlds natural resources, so in other words anarchy meets apocalypse. The world is controlled by gangs/groups so its kill or be killed sort of environment. Now the game is a typical mmorpg by getting quest/missions, go talk to this dude go kill this and what not, but the fun part is that all the mission are in 'instances' with other players are also doing theirs so in a way you are competing for the same objectives at times. It does have a pvp system/side of the game which I personally was having fun in because you are relative equal in terms of equipment so skills/reactions are important if you want to be a beast and get a reputation in the game. The controls of the character are standard of third-person shooter, ie zoom in to get more accurate shots with your weapons, another fun aspect/control is the melee kill. You can just knife someone/mob that is close to you, but personally a more fun way to do is to run up to them do a jumping pistol-whip or knife attack. Now that is the only way you can jump in the game, so there will be no bunny hopping when pvping, but oh so more enjoyable when pistol-whip a player. Tho the game has been around from 09, Bleedout is their new expansion, but the best thing about this game is that its free. There is a 'subscription,' so you choose to get, to receive extra goodies/xp and items that can bought in game. Although the in game economy allows you to buy some of those items in the market. The graphics are good, game play is fun, story line is interesting, and music tracks are not bad, just a bit repetitive. I did not get to play all the way through so I can't fully review it, but the level cap is 50, you get to spend 'points' on skills as you progress on levels, you can take 'professions' to craft your own gear, which is typical now a days in most mmorpg's. The game community is growing and they are adding more servers to handle the amount of people, so no long wait to try to log into the game since it went live. All in all I will give this 3.5 stars, its a fun way to kill time. Did I mention it was free?
