Well here is a game I unfortunately didn't get to spend as much time with as I would have liked,the downfall of rentals I suppose. It's a huge game that requires a lot of time invested, but from what I experienced it was time well spent.
So let's get to it. You play as Darius Mason a military man trying to uncover strange happening on the colonized Mars. The gameplay will be familiar to fans of the series. Overly destructive environments that explode withe gun, missile, mech fire. beautiful but repetitive looking environments and the utter destruction of thousands of similar looking alien creatures.There's fun to be had here, if you can get through all the repetition, but I thought the last entry in the series was much better. The story is so-so, but the shooting and weapon aspects are spot on and really the saving grace.really makes it a fun play through. If you're a fan I'd say go for it, if not, well, it's definitely worth a rental for some good old fashioned bug killing fun. 3.5 out of 5 stars.
