Ok, where to start, where to start, since I know your all really excited for this one ;). First off, I love my country and those who serve it to keep us safe. Second, I f**kng hate Captain America!! Never liked the comic, the movies were god-awful and I just really think he's a stupid character in general. Call me un-American if you must!
With that being said I expected this movie tie-in game to be a big, gigantic, swollen bag of suck! Well, tickle my....never mind...it's not! This is actually a pretty decent little action game, on par with marvel's excellent 'Wolverine:Origins' title.
The combat is brutal, much akin to that of 'Batman;Arkham Asylum'. It's fast, fluid, pulverizing and pretty cool to look at. The controls are easy to grasp and accessible to anyone, and its minor puzzles and object collecting were handled well. The story isn't top notch, but stays true to the "Cap" universe. That could just be me not being a fan of the series.
So if your a fan of the man with the big white 'A' on his forehead don't be afraid to give this one a try or purchase, you won't be disappointed and I'm sure it's a helluva lot better than the movie. 4 out 5 stars!
