If you are a Bond fan, you will definitely enjoy this game. You are 007
played by Daniel Craig, and your orders from MI6 are simple, take down the
enemy by any means necessary to stop an unknown enemy that has kidnap
scientist in this action pack game. One great aspects of the game is that
you feel you are in the middle of the movie from the explosive scenes to gun
fights that Bond movies are known for. The game mechanics, voice acting,
graphics, and story are well done. The controls are fun and very responsive
from doing hand to hand take downs, taking cover and picking off your
enemies in the gun fights, to driving, all in which I will go into quick
detail. The hand to hand combat is a fun a way to take down enemies if you
choose to go stealth, which can be a bit brutal but being Daniel Graig
smashing someones face into the wall makes you feel as a sexy stud muffin.
However if you want to go into the mission guns blazing, you can by going
into cover, blowing up environment to even the odds with a variety of guns
as well as a 'focus' shots which lets you take head shots like a boss but
are only acquired by doing take downs. The enemy A.I. is tolerable they will
try to pin you down and flank you if you let your guard down, as well as
seek cover from your barrage of bullets. The chase scenes are action packed
and very fun, you get to drive pedal to the medal in exotic cars, speed boat
across Europe. This game has a killer story line, amazing car chase, hand to
hand combat, and fun gun fighting. The one thing that was a let a down of
this game was the multi-player part of it, it was very laggy, controls and
reaction of your character blows. A promising feature however was their
ranking system which is similar to Blops, the better rank/kills/xp you get
the better weapons and perks you can get, for example if you are high enough
rank you can play as James Bond when playing as the MI6 side instead as a
guard with a blue long sleeve or better equipped with more powerful weapons.
All in all I would give this game 3.5 out 5 stars,
because of fun and the trophies/achievements you can get. So if you are looking
to play a game that will immerse you as if you are in a James Bond movie
this one will be a fun experience.
