Just like it says on the back of the case "a dungeon crawl for the Gears age". I was very hesitant on this game since the last few dungeon crawlers I've played were total garbage. Damn I'm glad I picked this one up. Bethesda software did a stellar job with this game! Gorgeous graphics, varying enemy types, scenic locals, dark dungeons and a lot of depth in the gameplay.
What's really cool about it, is that it uses a Gears of War-esque controller layout. Use the A button on xbox to make a mad rush like Marcus Fenix, and the B button to cover and shoot arrows at enemies. Then you've also got killer co-op play. If you do play alone your A.I. partner isn't mentally challenged like in most games out there. There's glowing pedestals placed throughout the game world that give you the opportunity to switch between character's depending on certain situations, one character may be better suited for the challenge ahead.
I also really enjoyed the banter between characters throughout the game. It really fleshes them out. While the storyline isn't the most phenomenal thing out there, the dialog and awesome gameplay mechanics keeps me coming back for more.
All in all a solid game from a solid developer. So "descend into darkness" and check out Hunted:The Demon's Forge" for xbox360/ps3. I give it a worthy dungeon crawling 4.5 out of 5 stars
