Hello Everbadge! Let me start first by saying this is NOT your average handheld fighting game. This little powerhouse can stand up to D.O.A.4 on the xbox 360. The graphics are slick, like anything you would expect to come from Team Ninja, controls are responsive and fluid, even if your a newb to the series, and theres a ton of depth to this game.
I have to admit, I am a bit biased when it comes to this franchise, I've owned and played them all, with that said...this game has so much to offer. From its extensive game modes (there's tag challenge, arcade, local and online play, spot pass and figure collecting, chronicle aka story mode which takes you through all four games, survival, free play, training and throw down)..its all here folks! to it's gorgeous visuals, to the frantic online play. It's a must have for 3ds owners and fighting fans alike.
Couple that with daily downloads from Team Ninja, such as weekly throw down challenges and extra character costumes and you get a recipe for a great game. If this game has a fault it would be that the 3d wasn't as impressive as i would've liked. I found myself turning it off while in a match and back on, for pre/post match visuals, and during cut-scenes.
I could go on and on about this game, but if I did that you wouldn't need to play it. on that note, if you're a hardcore d.o.a. or fighting fan...GO BUY THIS GAME NOW!!!
