The service is based in the Wolverhampton Medical Institute on the New Cross Hospital site and is currently staffed between 8.45am and 5pm (Monday to Thursday) and 8.45am until 4.30pm on Friday. There is also a small library at Cannock Chase Hospital on level 3 which is generally staffed Monday to Friday 10am until 2pm. The service is a member of the BASE consortium which comprises of 21 libraries in the Birmingham and Black Country area. This arrangement allows registered users to browse, reserve and renew books held at any of the member libraries.
