Volunteers needed for the Apostle Islands Sled Dog Race February 4 and 5
Echo Valley Gravel Pit The Apostle Islands Sled Dog Race is in need of volunteers to help with key aspects of the event. Volunteers are needed both Saturday and Sunday of the race:
Firekeeper - Build and maintain the warming fire on site. All materials will be provided. 8am to noon
Parking directors - Help direct parking within the lot at the gravel pit. We expect to see 300-500 vehicles per day, so experience is helpful. 7:30am to 11:30am
Crowd control - Help keep spectators back from the trail once the race is underway. 9:30am to noon
