I'm not fixated on Ms. Ocasio-Cortez. I don't have any google alerts for her, and I'm not sitting by the computer or TV to watch her latest unintelligible and indecipherable rant of the day. That being said, I did watch this brief clip, post the 57-0 defeat of her prized Green New Deal. Please don’t concern yourself with her tortuous rant. Rather listen to her statement starting at about the one minute mark.

The YouTube portion of the transcript follows.

…elitist concern one year ago I was waitressing in a taco shop in downtown Manhattan I just got health insurance for the first time a month ago this is not an elitist issue this is a quality-of-life issue…

In case you’ve not been keeping up on Health Care history, a brief reminder.

The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA), often shortened to the Affordable Care Act (ACA) or nicknamed Obamacare, is a United States federal statute enacted by the 111th United States Congress and signed into law by President Barack Obama on March 23, 2010.

And I seem to remember that if you didn’t have insurance coverage, the ACA exchanges were there to facilitate you getting health care. I also seem to remember that if you didn’t have health care/insurance and didn’t avail yourself to the ACA exchange you were to be penalized and fined for not having the government affordable health care policy. So where are the questions into Ms. Ocasio-Cortez and her health insurance history? She’s outed herself as a scoffer at the federal insurance mandate. If she’s not abided by this federal mandate, what else has she ignored?
