Looking back at the 2016 election I wonder if the Democrats knew all of the facts prior to their primaries.

The primaries for the Democrats began February 1 and ended June 14, 2016. Hillary Clinton announced her intention to seek the nomination on April 12, 2015.

Nearly 90 days later to the day, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) initiated a full investigation into Hillary. This investigation was based upon a referral from the U.S. Intelligence Community Inspector General (ICIG). The referral was submitted through the appropriate channels.

The subject of the investigation? Hillary’s potential unauthorized transmission and storage of classified information on her personal server.

There are a few questions that are raised with this information. If the Democrat base of voters was aware of this FBI investigation, would they have continued to want her as their party’s nominee? If they were not aware, why not? More importantly, where was the mainstream news media doing investigative journalism?
