Shootings in Chicago.  I know, I'm as shocked as you are at this report.  Gun control was to have saved all of this nonsense.  

What I do find interesting is the disparity of reporting of the crimes of those shot and those killed.  Allen B. West on his website reported low numbers.  When you Google "Chicago Shootings," Google returns an inflated number in a story from CBS News.

I'm told by newspaper sources that the Chicago Tribune has the best tally of the ongoing carnage in the city.  

So what do we learn from this brief exercise?  The truth is out there, and it is likely somewhere in the middle when you look for it.
