I hate to sound like a broken record and yet the mainstream, statist media simply continue to have no clue on how to do their jobs. I seem to recall and please correct me if I'm incorrect, but Trump is the "President Elect." Not the president and therefore does he have any obligation to anyone to let them know or receive their permission for a night out and dinner with his family?
The press continues to concentrate on minutia and is completely missing anything of substance during this transition period. The press and media are at a loss as to what happened a week ago and are wandering about, like lost children in a department store.
Let's get a grip and continue to fight back.
