St Brigid’s:
This is the main neurology ward in the hospital. It has an EEG telemetry service and a specialist telemetry nurse. Pain team patients are located here as well. This ward is below St Laurence’s, opposite Richmond and above CCU.

Richmond ward/Richmond ITU:

As one leaves the main corridor, one enters Richmond ward, which contain most high dependency neurosurgical patients. At the other end of the ward is Richmond ITU, where most RTA patients are. On entering Richmond ITU doctors are required to remove their white coat.
This ward is below St Teresa’s, opposite St Brigid’s and above Finbar’s day ward. There is an ABG machine present on the ward.

Adams McConnell:

This is another neurosurgical ward. Consults for patients needing long term neuro rehabilitation should be left, along with all CNS scans results, in Dr Delargan’s folder in the substation before on this ward before each Friday.This ward is below St Paul’s, opposite St Mary’s/St Anne’s and above the cardio/resp test laboratories.

Similar to St Teresa’s/St Clare’s, when one leaves the main corridor, one enters St Mary’s rheumatology ward. Continue on to enter St Anne’s ENT ward.
St Mary’s is a rheumatology ward with typical general medical problems.
St Anne’s is a surgical ward with a high turnover of ENT patients.
This ward is below Whitworth, opposite Adams McConnell and above the main entrance corridor to the hospital.

Miscellaneous:
There is a tutorial room, which is mainly used by the neurology/neurosurgery teams between Brigid’s and Richmond. The neurology secretaries are located between St Mary’s and Adams-McConnell.
